Croftsway Kennels

CROFTSWAY labradors - Established in 1975.
We are dedicated to breeding quality labradors that excell in Temperament, Type and Soundness.
We have had numerous imports from some of the worlds' leading kennels, and these have given us a strong base from which to work.

All our breeding stock is x-rayed and Scored for Hips and Elbows, and all hold current Eye Certificates.
Croftsway labradors have proven themselves as useful shooting companions, treasured family pets, and many have qualified as Guide Dogs for the NZ Guide Dog Foundation & other Guide Dog schools in Australia, Japan and the USA. We are also proud to support MOBILITY & SERVICE DOG organisations in both Australia and New Zealand. We have had numerous puppies go to these organisations with excellent results.

There are Croftsway Champions throughout New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Japan, Russia, the Philippines and the USA.
We currently have quality Stud dogs in black, chocolate and yellow - all imported lines. Our stud dogs have Champion progeny throughout NZ, Australia, Asia, Europe, USA and the UK.
We are also importing semen from around the world to add to our gene pool.
All of our Stud dogs are DNA Optigen tested for PRA and all are NORMAL / CLEAR. They are also DNA tested for EIC and HNPK.
Our puppies are well reared, and well socialised, and occassionally available to approved homes.

We currently have a lovely black male puppy available (born 28 July 2024), and a lovely yellow male available (born 19 August 2024)

Parents have excellent Hip & Elbow results, and are DNA tested in accordance with NZKC registration regulations.
Both puppies have super temperaments.

"Bobby"

"Bobby" holds the record for being the biggest winning NZ bred Labrador of all time. Multi Best In Show winner - All Breeds and Specialty. He has winning progeny around the world - including 2 daughters who are ENGLISH SHOW CHAMPIONS. His daughter won the Bitch CC at Crufts in 2012.
We lost 'Bobby" tragically in March 2010, but his memory will live on forever for all who had the priviledge to have met him.

Tommee holds the record for the most BEST IN SHOW wins at Specialty Labrador shows in New Zealand. He won his first Best In Show on his first birthday. He has won under International and local judges,

At home we have 2 x All Breed BEST IN SHOW winners sired by him, and several others that have won well at Specialty shows . Overseas he has Champion progeny in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
