I have been breeding Labradors since 2000, firstly in the Uk then brought my bitches with me when I came to New Zealand. Based just outside of Christchurch in the gentle countryside, my entire property is given over to the needs of my dogs. There is water for them to swim in and 10 acres for them to explore. I am passionate about breeding towards the breed standard, aiming to create generation after generation of true-to-type labradors. Bred for temperament, and retrieving instincts, my girls are everything I want in a labrador. I have successfully provided countless families with perfect family members for 22 years, and the pleasure comes from keeping in touch with everybody afterwards. I use a closed facebook group page to keep the families in touch which has worked very well.

I am committed to using DNA and X-ray techniques to reduce risk of passing on unwanted traits in my puppies. Health testing is the foundation of all my breeding decisions. Sage is now 3 1/2 years old and has been a wonderful mother to her first litter. She is soon expecting her second letter in April 2025. She is my first yellow Labrador and I am completely in love with the colour.  Sage has a wonderful temperament, she is a very cruisey girl and loves everybody that she meets. If you are prepared to give her a little attention she will be your friend for life. Sage is fully DNA health tested, has been hip and elbow x-rayed and has a current eye certificate.

If ever there was a dog to truly capture my heart it is Bonnie. She is very placid and very experienced at sitting quietly underneath the table of my local cafe, she is an active member of the Working Retriever club and Canterbury Gundog club, is trained in scent detection and has a wonderful zest for life. Bred by artificial insemination using UK Sh Ch Rocheby Hornblower, she is a combination of elite UK and also NZ bloodlines. A keen swimmer, a skilled retriever at gundog trials she certainly has a full life. It is hoped that Bonnie will have her first litter in late 2025.
