Kelljass Kennels

Kelljass Samoyeds and Border collies is a small kennel based in Hunua, Auckland. I am striving to produce sound and healthy samoyed/border collie companions that will fit into families which samoyeds/border collies just love.

I purchased my first samoyed in 1978, Koby was called "Kobeisky of Kalmia". We attended a few shows with Koby and was hooked into breed showing. 1995 my first border collie was Skye, Rimrock Glama Girl CDX from Colleen Pitt of Rimrock Kennels.

Then in 1996 I introduced my brood bitch, a good solid girl from Australia from the famous Kalina Kennels, Kalina Southern Sauna (Imp Aust) aka Lace arrived and I have never looked back on superb temperaments and it was using this bitch that I began obedience training.

All my breeding stock are hip/elbow scored, puppies are eye tested between 6-8 weeks old. Puppies are vet checked, eye tested and vaccinated before they leave for new homes at 8 weeks. The border collies are DNA tested, for CEA and CL.

My puppies are raised in country/obedience surroundings. They are socialised very early with obedience people and dogs, this is something I am passionate about and expect any owners of my puppies to carry on with.
