At Moya Rottweilers we put quality ahead of all else. First kennel in New Zealand to have all breeding stock JLPP, DNA, LEMP, Thyroid, Hips, Elbows, eye, dental, Long coat gene, Von Willanbrands screened, echocardiogrammed Clear. Purchasing Frozen semen from Europe and other overseas countries enables us to have some of the worlds best blood lines in our kennels. This is evident in the producing of multiple Australian and NZ champions, Multi Best in Specialty Show winners and successful under All Breeds and Specialist judges. Recently our Australian team achieved our first Australian Supreme Champion and multiple tracking titles on all of our Moya dogs. In our breeding program we pay close attention not only to conformation and show winning attributes, but to solid companion worthy temperaments and thorough health testing. Which makes a versatile companion, suitable for confirmation exhibiting, agility, tracking, therapy dogs and other sports.
All our breeding stock are screened for hip, elbow, eye, heart, dental and Thyroid soundness, and are proud to be the first Rottweiler breeder in NZ to be systematically Thyroid testing all stock and registered clear, certification of confirmation provided in every electronic puppy pack. We are the first Rottweiler Kennel in New Zealand to be on our 4th generation of systematically heart tested clear dogs. As Heart issues and some structural developmental issues are in Rottweilers in NZ.
Moya Kennels encourages potential puppy purchasers to explore all information available about Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, and other Stuctural issues that can arise in the Rottweiler world wide. Even with extreme care with breeding low scoring dogs and breeding within the guidelines of a code of ethics, these disorders can still appear and owners need to be informed of ways to prevent and eliminate these issues with their new Rottweiler puppy.
Moya Kennels is more than happy to provide information and ongoing support for the life time of any Moya Puppy All puppies come with their 1st vaccination,  microchipped and registered on the National database, free 16 week pet insurance..
