An All Breeds Club established in 1893, with all Shows now being held at the Manawatu Canine Centre Grounds at Ashhurst Domain. These grounds were officially opened by His Worship The Mayor Paul Rieger on 6 February 1989, and provide a wonderful setting for shows , with ample parking area and enough space to enable us to offer decent sized rings for all groups at our All Breed shows as well as the Specialist shows that are held in conjunction with them. We have a small but enthusiastic committee who work hard to give all our exhibitors a well run and enjoyable experience when they attend one of our shows. Upcoming Shows and Events

The last Championship Shows were held at the Manawatu Canine Centre January 2023 and proudly sponsored by Royal Canin. These were held in conjunction with Wanganui Kennel Society shows. Our next Championship shows will be on the 3rd weekend in January -   January 2024 again generously sponsored by Royal Canin.

There is overnight camping available, with hot showers and toilets, and parking available at the Manawatu Canine Centre at Ashhurst.

Our Championship Benefit Show in conjunction with an Open show and specialty shows will be held on 22nd and 23rd April 2023.   Our next Ribbon Parades to be advised.      These are held at the Manawatu Canine Centre, Ashhurst Domain.

Club Activities

Two Championship Shows held on the 3rd Weekend of January each year, with Open Shows and Ribbon Parades held during the year. Show training is also provided during the summer months.    A quarterly Newsletter is sent to all Members, keeping them up-to-date with what is happening in the Club and filled with interesting 'doggie' articles.
