Established in 1964, we are the only specialty Chihuahua Club in the South Island of New Zealand. Our aim is to improve the Chihuahua breed, encourage the care of healthy, well-adjusted dogs, share our love for these great little dogs with other Chihuahua lovers and improve the wider community understanding of an often misunderstood breed.

Club Activities

We meet every Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 for a small dog playgroup at Kuri, 173 St Asaph St, Christchurch, as well as holding regular Championship and Open sows, Ribbon Parades and fun days for our pet members.
