The Labrador Club

The Labrador Club Inc is one of the largest breed clubs within New Zealand with a consistent annual membership of 280-300 members. The club offers a variety of events annually which include our Championship Shows, Ribbon Parades, Match Days, Training Days, Fun Days, Forest Walks and Seminars! The club provides an official List of Breeders on its website. The general public can refer to this to locate breeders near them and find information about upcoming and available litters of puppies.

Club Activities

The Labrador Club Inc offers members a varied annual programme consisting of Specialist Championship Shows, Ribbon Parades, Match Days with the Golden Retrievers and various Fun Days. Every six - eight weeks or so the club holds a Club Walk for Labradors and their owners to enjoy where the dogs run free in the Forest. Fours times per annum we publish a Club Bulletin which is for the show, field trial and your every day pet owner.
