I have been involved with dogs all my life coming from a farming background. I have owned/bred and exhibited

Dachsunds for more than 45 years in partnership with my husband David.

Having bred  Standard & Smooth (Daxford/Dachsford), Miniature Wire(Wyrdax)

Miniature Long ( in partnership with Gladwil) and now have a recessive Long Hair.

I am currently a Board Member for the NZ Dog Judges Assoc, Secretary Treasurer of The Auckland

Dachshund Club and also a Life Member of the Club.

I have served on many committees of All Breed Dog Clubs, Hound Group Club and also

currently the Dogs NZ Delegate for the Group and Multi-Breed Clubs

I have judged Dachshund Specialties in NZ, Australia (2x), UK (3x) Sth Africa and USA

My judging career has taken me to many parts of the world including Australia  , Canada, USA, UK,

Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Malaysia, Singapore and China.

I began judging in 1974 with the Hound Group and became All Breeds some 25 years later.

In 2018 I was granted Specialty Status for All Varieties of Dachshund.
