About Me

I have been involved with dogs most of my life. My Parents owned German Shepherds and as a young child, we went to a lot of dog show. In 1984 I showed my first German Shepherd in All Breeds and Specialty Shows and ever since then I have been hooked.

I also competed in junior handlers and was top junior 1985 for the Working Dog Club and also SIGSL

I am in partnership with my Parents in Heathcote Kennels (Est:1976)
Many of our dogs have attained there NZ Champion title and I have breed Multi Excellent and In Show winners in the specialty and All Breeds Shows.

In 2013 I bought my first Long Coat Chihuahua. 
I owned the 2016 Best Long Stock Coat National Winner and 2019 Co-Own the Reserve Long Stock Coat National Winner.
I really enjoyed this breed and I look forward to expanding my knowledge to this breed and to the Judging ring
